Rhythm and Vines Statement around Overseas Artists

Early this year during our first release of artists, we made the statement that due to the current environment, we won't be releasing any overseas artists unless we were 100% sure we can get them into the country.

As it stands, we are still not comfortable that any of our overseas artists will be able to get into NZ's already under strain quarantine facilities so have made the decision to go 100% Kiwi (+Alix Perez 😜).

While a hard decision, the decision was made easier by the fact that Aotearoa music is at a truly exceptional level, and that by investing into Kiwi artists, this will only make the industry stronger for year's to come.

This year presents a pretty unique opportunity to celebrate our country, our people, and our music, all in the uniquely special place that is Rhythm and Vines and we feel that this year's festival will go down in the history books as one of the greatest.

Our team are working harder than ever to ensure that come December 28, when our gates open, that Waiohika Estate, one of the most stunning live music venues in the world, will be transformed into one of the greatest celebrations this country has ever seen.

We look forward to seeing you in Gisborne.
