One NZ Vines Stage

Since the release of her debut single ‘Hillary Banks’ in 2021, Tāmaki Makaurau-based artist Jujulipps has been making waves in the rap scene with her dynamic flow and unapologetic confidence.
The rising star's mission is to remind her listeners that they are the main characters in their stories. As she puts it, "My ultimate goal is to empower my listeners to feel good about themselves, recognise their worth, and to be proud of who they are, especially my fellow immigrants." Jujulipps was born in Cape Town, South Africa with roots stretching across the African continent. She draws inspiration from the soulful sounds of Africa and the powerful energy of hip-hop and Afrobeat. "I am a child of the diaspora, my music is a celebration of the richness and vibrancy of my motherland," Jujulipps says.
With influences ranging from Leikeli47, Nicki Minaj, and Rico Nasty to Burna Boy, Jujulipps has created a sound that effortlessly blends genres. Her upcoming EP 'Get That Shot' is a reflection of her diverse musical background and her commitment to breaking down barriers and pushing boundaries.
Fresh off a national tour with Synthony, Jujulipps has graced the stages of various New Zealand summer festivals (Northern Bass, Cuba Dupa, Cross St. Festival), showcased her talent at a series of events and supported US rapper Cakes Da Killa at Auckland’s iconic FILTH show.
Jujulipps is ready to take on the stage once again and continue making her mark in the Aotearoa rap scene. This will be Jujulips's debut performance at Rhythm and Vines.
