INVENTORY MANAGER

Rhythm and Vines are on the hunt for people who are either in their final year of studying event/business management or working in the events industry to join our team in Gisborne this summer!

This role involves the management and delivery of inventory at the festival. You will be ensuring all spreadsheets are up to date and processes of the department are running smoothly. The preferred applicants must have experience in Microsoft Office, great organisational skills and most importantly work well in a team. We are looking for someone who is outgoing and shows great interpersonal skills.

Ideally we want someone who is focussed on a career in the events industry and wants to gain crucial experience being right in amongst the action.

The positions are based in Gisborne and will start the beginning of December and finish the beginning of January. Accomodation provided on site.

CAD DESIGNER

Rhythm and Vines are on the hunt for people with skills in AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, Vectorworks or a similar design program to join our team in Gisborne this summer.

Ideally we are searching for design, surveying/civil engineering, architecture or landscape architecture students who are looking for crucial experience while also working on a world class music festival. We are looking for someone who is very passionate, motivated and has great attention to detail.

The positions are based in Gisborne and will start the beginning of December and finish the beginning of January. Accomodation provided on site.

HEALTH & SAFETY COORDINATOR

Rhythm and vines are on the hunt for a person with skills in administration and health and safety to join our team in Gisborne this summer!

  • Our ideal candidate will have the following skills / attributes:
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Knowledge of the Health and Safety Act 2015
  • Good communication skills – have the ability to liaise with senior management and key emergency stakeholders
  • Good technology skills and initiative – we are running a lot of health and safety processes off a new app.

The positions are based in Gisborne and will start 19th November 2018 and finish 7th January 2019. Accomodation provided on site.

ACCREDITATION ASSISTANCE

Rhythm and Vines are on the hunt for a person with skills in administration and customer service to join our event team in Gisborne this summer!

We are looking for an Accreditation Assistant to assist our accreditation manager in ensuring the department is ready to go for the festival. Tasks include but are not limited to; liaising with key stakeholders to gather requirements, setting up the accreditation area, accurately and effectively distributing accreditation and dealing with any issues in this area as they arise.

CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER

Rhythm and Vines are on the hunt for a person with skills in administration and customer service to join our event team in Gisborne this summer!

We are looking for a Customer Service Manager to bring ideas to the table on how we can enhance the festival experience for our patrons. You will be responsible for creating sufficient customer service documentation and managing a small team dedicated to helping out our customers. This will include but is not limited to, name changes, lost and found items, dealing with common queries and assisting with creating a positive experience for our festival-goers.

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills / attributes:

  • Strong administrative skills
  • Great initiative
  • Good communication skills – have the ability to liaise with senior management and key emergency stakeholders
  • Strong leadership capability as you will manage a team
  • Quick learner and able to work in a fast-paced environment

EVENTS INTERN

We are on the hunt for a young and ambitious intern to join the team in Gisborne this Summer.

This is a diverse role that will provide you with crucial event experience and also give you an insight into how a world-class festival is organised.

The prefered applicant should have great organisational skills, able to keep a cool head when under pressure and also work well in a team. Interpersonal skills are a must as this role will heavily involve helping other members of staff.

This is a full time paid position based in Gisborne starting early December.
