WAIOHIKA ESTATE - The home of Rhythm and Vines

DECEMBER 29 - 31 2016

GETTING to r&v

85% of our customers drive to Rhythm and Vines. Gisborne is a 6.5 hour drive from Auckland and Wellington. Please take regular stops and drive to the conditions. There is no need to rush.

Look out for rest areas along the way. The Police work with local communities offering free food and replenishments which is a great way to break up the trip.

There will be parking available at the festival site for those driving to R&V. The entrance to the car park is Gate C off Back Ormond Road, just past Grey’s Bush Reserve. The car park is alcohol-free – Police will be patrolling the site. Charges may apply for single day parking (parking is free for Onsite Campers).

Air New Zealand operates 5 flights into Gisborne from Auckland and 2-3 from Wellington. Prices get expensive so the earlier you book the better.

Due to the remoteness of Gisborne, there used to be only one airline that flies into Gisborne (Air NZ). To cater for the demand, we have launched Air Rhythm flights from Auckland to Gisborne.

If you live in Tauranga, Sharethebus is operating a return bus from Tauranga to Gisborne. Even better if you are hitting up Bay Dreams on the 1st, this will drop you off to the festival.

InterCity is operating special services direct to Rhythm and Vines! Rhythm & Vines buses will depart from Auckland on 27 and 28 December with pickups in Hamilton, Rotorua, Whakatane and other stops along the way, dropping you directly at the Gate B entrance. Too easy!
