You turn up on December 28, set up your tent and get welcomed to your very own Pre-Party for Rhythm and Vines - the Waiohika Warmup. From then on, your home is nestled within the vines for 4 days as you and your friends see in the New Year. Shower and toilet facilities located throughout the campgrounds, and a range of pre-setup camping options.
Exclusive to R&V onsite campers only, the Waiohika Warmup is a chance for festival goers to get loose and limber on the night of December 28. 4 stages will be in full flight which include Greenhouse stage, Garden Stage, Cellar Stage and Goose Club. Our exclusive party for 15,000 campers, will get you primed for the dance marathon ahead.
Situated in the stunning Vines Amphitheatre. The Rhythm and Vines mainstage will be your temple for the remaining few days of the decade.
The Rhythm Stage evolves this year into the Heineken Stage. Hearty bass and expansive dance floor, come here prepared to dance your ass off. All will be revealed on when gates open.
Legend has it that once you find yourself in the Cellar, you will never dance the same again.
You will find your new favourite band hidden in amongst the lush gardens of Waiohika Homestead.

No sugars will be given as you head into The Pepsi Max Chiller. Some of the world's best friendships have been found between these four small walls. You will love the Pepsi Max Chiller... if you can find it.
Get down and boogie at the Goose Club, a nightclub like no other and where things will no doubt get loose as a... be sure to be there between 7pm-10pm for the "Goose Show".
The Vines Village is located within the heart of the festival and is the perfect meeting point. Foodies heaven, skateboard ramp, hidden , and shade sail to keep you sheltered from the sun or rain.

It’s easy to over-do it with 3 days of festivities so make sure you are replenishing your body and soul while at the festival. Our wellness area is a calm oasis, including yoga, avocado toast, nourishing treats, and plenty of space to rest and rejuvenate. Escape the crowd or simply come have a chat.
We love to create spaces that are stimulating for all of the senses. However, we know this can sometimes get overwhelming. The Haven is our safe space area that is located next to St Johns and other medical services. The Haven provides a relaxing sanctuary where trained staff are available for anyone that needs extra support or a quiet moment away. We want everyone to feel safe, so take care of each other. Visit The Haven or tell security if you notice something that doesn’t seem right.
Head up the Vines amphitheatre hill to the Clean Collective Canopy bar and enjoy the best views of the festival. Soak up the sun, sights and tunes and drink clean while you are at it.
Conveniently located next to the Heineken Stage, The Heineken Bar is the place to be this year with an all new Beer Garden! Sit back, relax and enjoy your refreshing Heineken lager, Orchard Thieves Cider and Pure Piraña Seltzer on the decked-out lawn, and even score some free merch if you’re lucky!
Enjoy a summer sundowner at the Red Bull Playhouse, looking back over the festival and checking out your new favourite band at the Garden Stage. Join us at the Red Bull Playhouse from 4-6 PM every day for #REDBULLGOLDENHOUR with sunset tunes and go to summer cocktail, the Red Bull Tropical & Gin.

Slide your way into 2021 with the Pepsi Max Waterslide. Perfect for the impulsive, the bold, and the brave. Shoot down the hillside on a man-made slide, straight into a pond that’s waiting for you at the bottom of the hill. You can't really say you have done Rhythm without slipping down the Waiohika hillside with absolutely no sugars given.
Make sure you have your meeting point sorted with friends to catch the final countdown of the year. A masterfully crafted countdown video will make you laugh and cry as we farewell the decade and welcome in the new.
If the waterslide within the festival isn't enough be sure to check out the Rere Rockslide, this waterfall that creates a natural waterslide is located at a 30min drive east of Gisborne and is a great way to refresh throughout the day.
Another great way to spend your day out of the campsite is heading over to Wainui beach, which is known for its good surf along the East cape and located just six kilometers from the centre of Gisborne city.
A definitive highlight of Rhythm & Vines is the pool party scene at the Emerald Hotel, this year, presented by Pepsi Max, with top R&V talent performing to the lucky few who get their hands on tickets. Have a drink, have a boogie like no one’s watching, and dive in the pool with no sugars given. Then hop on the exclusive pool party bus out to R&V. Complimentary beverages will be provided upon arrival thanks to Pepsi Max.get tickets
