As a little background, Sonicbids is the website that helps bands get gigs and promoters find the right bands. It’s a place where any band, from any genre, anywhere in the world can come to find and connect with any type of music promoter, licensor or broadcaster. Currently, Sonicbids works with over 21,000 promoters from around the world, but Rhythm and Vines is the first promoter in New Zealand to use Sonicbids for finding talent.

Here’s how it works for bands… You sign up for a Sonicbids membership (you get two weeks free). You create your Sonicbids Electronic Press Kit (EPK™) and then apply to the gigs you’re interested in (all around the world). So in the case of Rhythm and Vines, you can apply to play the festival using Sonicbids, and Rhythm and Vines will select three Sonicbids member bands from Australia or New Zealand to perform. Pretty cool stuff.
